Nothing like having your appendix decide today is the day, after 46 years, while you are at work. Out of commission for a few days but glad I made the decision to go to the E.R. rather than deal with the pain as I tend to do. Also found a couple other, hopefully minor issues (hopefully just remnants of past issues), after a CT scan but doing okay. Just terrified of the bill at this point as the only health insurance I can afford has a 40% coinsurance for everything and a huge deductible.
Everyone at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital was so amazing and caring. I wanted to give a shout out to the NP who drew a diagram and got some grief from the doctor from her depiction of the stomach so she erased it lol.
